Obituary of David Colin CHAMBERS

CHAMBERS :DAVID COLIN (Former Public School Principal in Peterborough) At P.R.H.C., Palliative Care, on Friday January 7th, 2005, peacefully following a courageous struggle against cancer for more than 12 years. Dave Chambers of Bridgenorth in his 70th year. Beloved husband and soulmate of Beth (Pequegnat). Loving father of David (Michelle) of Lakefield & Julie Chambers (Keith VanHoekelen) of Fraserville and adored grandfather of Cameron & Amy Chambers. Dear brother of Phyllis Waind (Hugh) of Elora and uncle of Cathe Watters and Tom & Bill Waind. Brother-in-law of David Boice Pequegnat. Predeceased by his parents Thomas & Catherine Chambers. Dave was a longtime member of Bridgenorth United Church. He was respected in the educational community and church circles in which he faithfully served. Dave faced his illness with the same attributes he brought to the rest of his life; patience, humour, kindness, humility, a generous spirit and a sense of gratitude for all things good. His great love for his family and for God made his life complete. Friends may call at the HENDREN FUNERAL HOME, Lakefield on Friday January 14th, 2005 from 2-4:00 & 7-9:00 p.m. Memorial service at the Bridgenorth United Church on Saturday January 15th, 2005 at 2:00 PM.
