Dear Mrs Chambers and family. As you know, we are so sad that Mr Chambers is gone...but remember-as we know you will, that he is only gone physically- not ever in spirit or memory. He has a wonderful family that loved and cared for him and you have all the wonderful memories associated with the precious time you had. Please know as your neighbours, that you are not alone and can call on us anytime for anything or nothing.. Mr Chambers will be greatly missed, but you can carry on as you have in the spirit and strength as he would wish you to do. Use your friends and neighbours to help you- We would be very happy to do help you in any way. With love and care. Cydney and Hans, Tyanne and Pietr Kamping

Dear Beth and family, It's been a very long time since we have met but I want to let you know how much I liked and respected Dave both as a friend and a principal. He was always honest, helpful and supportive in his dealings with staff, students and friends and he did this while maintaining his great sense of humour. When Bill and I first moved to the Bridgenorth area you and Dave were there for us with friendship and help which we greatly appreciated. I was very sorry to here this fall that Dave was so ill and had been for a long time. This must have been a great strain on you and your family. May God bless you and continue to give you strength in this time of sorrow. My thoughts and prayers are with you. Sincerely, Mary Henry (Green)

Beth & family, We so miss Dave's big smile and hearty handshake at the front door of Bridgenorth United. On the first Sunday we were welcomed, on the second Sunday we had name tags, on the fourth we had envelopes....and the rest is history! He invited us to participate in the life of the Church, and he modelled that participation with enthusiasm. Dave approached life -- no matter how challenging -- with humour and grace. He immediately put folks at ease with his down-to-earth, always encouraging attitude. When I visited with him at PRHC I always left there feeling better for having stopped in -- this was a gift he shared even in illness. If our lives were tapestries made up of threads from lives who've intersected ours...Dave's would be a bright, but all too short, thread in ours. We will both miss him. God bless and keep you all in His care.

Dear Beth, Julie and David: Even though we knew that Dave must leave us, it still comes as a shock. Please accept our heartfelt sympathies. He will be greatly missed as we all know , since his contributions to church and community have been so great over his lifetime. I ( Helen) have worked very closely with him over the years, going back to the first Music Committee and continuing through Session and Trustees. He was always so affable, so generous, so easy to work with that it has left a lasting memory with me of the most perfect association one can have within the church. His total contributions have been immense. My thoughts are particularly with you, Beth, loyal and caring helper through this long illness. I came away from a visit with him much heartened. He was finalaly able to be free of pain and was enjoying his leisure to read and chat with visitors. I am glad that he was given this respite. May God bless and keep you and your family in this difficult time. Love and hugs, Helen and Tod.

I am presently in France. I wish to send my condolences to the family of Dave. I had the opportunity to serve with Dave on various committes for the Board. He was always there with his level headedness and professionalism. His dedication to teaching and his care for the children were ever present. He was missed sorely when he retired and again now as he has left us. With good memories, Kathleen March.
