Carol and I send our sincere condolences to Jean's family on her recent "home call". Jean became a very special friend of mine (David's) when I owned the Christian book store in Peterborough and that friendship continued through all these years. Jean and Ron played such an important role in the success of Elim Lodge and they will never be forgotten. I'm sorry we weren't able to be present at the service today but you were in our thoughts and prayers.

On behalf of the Elim Lodge (Ministries) we want to pass on our condolences on the "home going" of Jean. The impact that Jean and Ron had on Elim Lodge will not be forgotten but lives on. The foundation that they built into Arnelle Acres and later Elim Lodge endures. The present leadership of Elim Ministries stands on the shoulders of founders like Jean, Ron, Orvis and a host of others. What a radiant testimony Jean had because of her love of God and others. To the Arnold family - So sorry to hear about Jean's passing. I knew Jean from going to SSFC 1977-79 in the Nursing program who always looked up to us younger nurses. She was an example of being a life-long learner. The family is in our thoughts and prayers. Coralee Vass (nee Buttars).

So sorry for your loss. I met Jean and Orvis in a Bible study in Sarasota Florida. Both were dedicated Christians, serving The Lord. I will miss her comments on my post on Facebook. I feel very fortunate that our paths crossed.
