HEARD: Jean Edel

Passed away at the P.R.H.C. on Thursday May 11, 2023.   Jean Heard of Buckhorn in her 91^st year.  Loving wife of the late Douglas Heard (d. 2009).  Sadly missed by her son Doug Heard (Barb) of Newmarket and daughter Kim Armstrong of Buckhorn.  Dear grandma of Samantha Heard, Brady Heard, Cooper Armstrong and Riley Armstrong.  Jean will be missed by several nieces and nephews.  Predeceased by her brother Stewart Hall (Shirley) and her nephew Shaun (Rebecca).  Cremation has taken place.  A Funeral will be held at THE HENDREN FUNERAL HOMES, LAKEFIELD CHAPEL, 66 Queen Street, Lakefield on Monday June 5, 2023.  Visitation will begin at 12:00 PM followed by a service at 1:00 PM.  A reception will follow in the Heritage Room of the Funeral Home.  Interment Lakefield Cemetery.  Memorial donations may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Ontario as expressions of sympathy and may be made by contacting the funeral home at www.hendrenfuneralhome.com or by calling 705-652-3355.
