Praying for comfort to Kim, Doug, Barb, Cooper, Riley, Samantha, and Brady. So many wonderful memories of hanging out at the Heard house up on the hill. Spent half my childhood up there, practicing our Charlies Angels routine on the monkey bars, skating on a homemade rink behind the house, betting coins on horse races, eating KFC, Mac n’ cheese, and Dare double fudge cookies. Going to drive-in movie and shopping in the little Toyota. I think Mrs. Heard took me to get my ears pierced to the later surprise of my parents. I can picture your little dog —was it named Muffin? That was my childhood nickname—surely a coincidence. Grateful to the Heard family for all your kindness and all the fun we had in your home. May God give you peace and comfort.
