GRAHAM: Garnet Malcolm
Peacefully passed away, in his 89th year, at Peterborough Regional Health Centre on Friday June 18, 2021. Garnet was a well-respected teacher and principal for 35 years with the Hamilton Board of Education. He was a true gentleman who lived with compassion in all areas of his life and was a devoted family man, loving every moment he spent with his children and grandchildren. Garnet was a dedicated volunteer with Christ Church Community Museum in Lakefield for many years. Alongside his good friend Bill Twist, he was inducted into the Peterborough Pathway of Fame for Community Betterment. Loved and greatly missed by his wife, Barbara Graham (nee Tomes) and his children: Brian Graham (Dawn) and Carole Pacella (Paul). Grandad will always be remembered by his grandchildren: Meghan, Lauren, Selina, Marcus, Sarah and great grandson, Omar. Also remembered by his sister, Shirley, of Peterborough and several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents, sister Jean (Ralph) and brother-in-law Charlie. A private family funeral service will be held at THE HENDREN FUNERAL HOMES, LAKEFIELD CHAPEL, 66 Queen Street, Lakefield on Thursday June 24, 2021, at 10:30 AM.
