Obituary of John Mackey

Passed away peacefully on Friday, March 26, 2021, at Ross Memorial Hospital, Lindsay, with his daughter by his side. John Mackey in his 91st year. Beloved husband of 60 years to the late Beryl Mackey (née Roberts).
He will be loved and missed by his children, Nigel, Adrian (Julie), Steven (Tiina), and Katie Zwygers (Jim). Proud Grandpa/Bumpy of Lynn (Vlad), Michael, Jeffrey, Jenna, Tori Ashe, and Tyler Ashe (Sara).
Predeceased by his parents, Ernest and Martha Mackey, and his sister, Christine.
John will be remembered by his extended family and friends. The family would like to extend their gratitude to the staff at Ross Memorial Hospital for their utmost care and compassion.
Cremation has taken place. A private funeral service will take place at THE HENDREN FUNERAL HOMES, MONK CHAPEL, 6 Helen Street, Bobcaygeon, Ontario on Thursday, June 24, 2021 at 1:00 PM.

Interment to follow at Verulam Cemetery - if desired, you may join the family at the cemetery for the interment at 1:45 PM by registering through our website.
