My thoughts are with you, Joan and with all the members of Wayne's family.
I got to know Wayne through my work with the Trent Severn Waterway. I appreciated very much his zest for life and enthusiasm for all of the possibilities of the Waterway. He was a visionary and a community builder, and I learned over time the many ways he shaped his community - the early days of the Kawartha Nordic Ski Centre, for example.
I learned from Wayne and am so sorry about of his passing.
