Obituary of Donald Vardy

VARDY, Donald Alfred "Fred" Passed away at the Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre on Monday March 24, 2014. Fred Vardy of Apsley in his 89th year, husband of the late Ruth Irene (nee Puffer). Beloved father of Barbara Anderson (Jack) of Orangeville and proud grandfather of Renee Blacklock (Steven), Tara Snow, Kevin Snow and Julie Snow and great grandfather of Ethan, Austin and Tyler. Dear brother of Betty Buck (late Jim). Predeceased by his son Ernest, sister Phyllis Warner and brother George Vardy (Betty). A celebration of Fred's life will be held at THE HENDREN FUNERAL HOMES, LAKEFIELD CHAPEL on Monday March 31, 2014 at 1:00 PM. A reception will follow in the Heritage Room of the Funeral Home.
