Obituary of T. Sally Nielsen

NIELSEN, T. Sally Passed away peacefully after a courageous battle with Cancer at the P.R.H.C., Palliative Care on Friday, June 11, 2010. Sally Nielsen of Burleigh Falls in her 79th year. A fearless fighter to save the Newfoundland Pony from extinction. Cherished Mom of Glen McLaren-Villeneuve (Peggy) of Guelph, Alan McLaren (Jo-Anne) of Peterborough, Roy McLaren of Burleigh Falls and Scott McLaren of Toronto. Aunt Sally will be missed by the Nielsen, Wong, McTurk and Lowe families. Granny will be missed by Stephanie Tryfon (Jason), Miles McLaren, Jennie Levy (Rob), Derek Stribling, Ryan Maloney and the late Cpl. Mark Robert McLaren, MMV who was lost in Afghanistan and by her great grandchildren Taylor, Mackenzie, Marcus and Kingston. A memorial service will be held at the Church on the Rock, Burleigh Falls, Ontario on Saturday, July 3, 2010 at 3:00 PM with visitation to commence at 1:00 PM. Reception to follow the service in the Heritage Room of the funeral home, 66 Queen Street, Lakefield.
