I met Sally through a documentary by the CBC and immediately fell in love with her wonderful spirit. She had such a deep love for her ponies and it shone through her eyes. What a wonderful lady! She did more good than she will ever know. I hope her ponies will be well looked after and someone will name a new little filly Sally.

Sally will be greatly missed by many people. Although we had never met in person we had become close friends after many years of phone conversations. When we first became involved with raising Newfoundland Ponies, Sally had become our mentor. She was such a wonderful, kind and caring person. Her love for the Newfoundland Pony was contagious. We would like to send our deepest heartfelt condolences to her family.

To Roy and all of Sally's family Sally was certainly a woman of boundless energy, devoted to the cause of the Newfoundland Pony. As an owner of two of her pony progeny, I was so sorry to hear that she is no longer with us. I shall especially be thinking of you Roy, as this will be a very difficult time for you. Margaret

My dear friend Sally -- you will be missed. Over the last few years we lost touch with each other but I never forgot our friendship and all the good times we had together. We had so much in common -- love of animals, gardening and love of nature, etc. My heart goes out to Glenn, Alan, Roy and Scott, and the whole family in this very sad time. GOODBYE SUNSHINE -- I WILL MISS YOU VERY MUCH...................... Love Patti

On behalf of my wife and me I would like to offer our deepest condolences. I first met my Aunt Sally towards the end of my high school years. She always seemed to me to be a high spirited lady with down-to-earth attitudes and a ready smile. These qualities made interaction with her easy and comfortable. She also possessed great determination in her endeavours, as she demonstrated in her tireless championing of the Newfoundland Pony. Although I don't think they discussed it, I think she and her sister (my mother) shared many endearing qualities. I will miss Aunt Sally's mirthful smile and the twinkle in her eye.
