COWELL. Cecil E. After a courageous battle with Cancer, at P.R.H.C. Rogers St. site on Thursday, November 24, 2005, Cecil Cowell of Lakefield (formerly of Stratford) in his 79th year. Survived by his beloved wife Betty (Vock) and her family. Loving father of Sandra Hock (Michael), Ron, Wendy Gale (Gus Bianco), Dennis (Cathy), Robin Roberts (Kirk) & Dale. Loved by 10 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. Also missed by his brother Roy Cowell, sisters Ruby Newton, Reta Woods & Millie Fader and many nieces and nephews. Son of the late Ernest & Ida Cowell of North Gower. Predeceased by his wife Margaret Wilson, brothers Norman, Howard, Mervyn, Earl and sister Edna. Cecil was a member of the Lakefield United Church, Lakefield Legion Branch #77 and Masonic Lodge 332 in Stratford. Former owner and manager of C.E. Cowell Heating Limited in Stratford. A Memorial Service and Celebration of his life will be held at the Lakefield United Church on Monday, November 28, 2005 at 11:00 a.m. Rev. Warren Vollmer Officiating.
