Obituary of Esther Firne DRAIN

DRAIN: Esther Firne (nee Menzies) Passed away at the P.R.H.C. , Hospital Dr. site, on Monday August 15, 2005. Esther Drain of R. R. #2 Lakefield in her 91st year. Loved and missed by her sons, John (Jean) and Darrell (Susan), both of R.R. #2 Lakefield. Also missed by her grandchildren Ryan and Julie Drain, Pete Redden (Lee) and Julie Elgie (Pete); great grandchildren Mikayla, Blake and Holly Redden and Adrienne and Chrissie Elgie. Lovingly remembered by her brother Gerald Menzies (Eileen) of Vancouver, B. C., and her sisters Bernice McMillan (Carl) and Birdie Menzies, both of Havelock. Survived by several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her husband Basil (1971), brothers Archie, Ranald, Bruce, Donald and Grenville and her sister Clara. Friends and relatives may call at the HENDREN FUNERAL HOME, Lakefield on Wednesday August 17, 2005 from 6-9 PM. A funeral service will be held from the Norwood Pentecostal Church on Thursday, August 18, 2005 at 2:00 PM. Rev. Ron Hughes officiating. Interment Norwood Cemetery.
