Emily was a long time friend and Mentor to me and i will miss her greatly. It was always fun to meet her on the Pow Wow trail. She taught me alot about how she made the moccasins which she would beautifully bead. We talked for hours about her life and her children whom she loved very much. We never made it out to the Island to look for the Medicine plants but when i go to gather i am sure she will be there. Emily will be sadly missed by all who knew her. Emily is not far away, she is in our hearts. Love Sue Browning & Melvin Taylor
