Obituary of William A. (Bill) STABLER

STABLER, William A. (Bill) With great sadness we announce the passing of a great son, father and brother, while playing hockey, the game he loved at age 58 in Arlington, Texas on July 6th, 2005. Beloved husband of Nancy; father of Brynne (Chadd), Mara (Jerry), Jonathan, and grandson Cade. Loving son of Doris and the late Gerald Stabler of Lakefield. Remembered always by brother Greg (Dianne) of Guelph, and Ted (Ann) of Warsaw. Dear uncle of Shondra, Cassandra, Jayme and John. Bill graduated from Lakefield District High School and continued his education on a hockey scholarship at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Troy, New York, where he met the love of his life, Nancy. He continued to work in the swimming pool industry throughout the United States. A Memorial Service will be held at the Lakefield Baptist Church on Saturday August 13th, 2005 at 2:00 PM. Rev. Charles Jackson officiating. Memorial donations may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Ontario as expressions of sympathy.
