I can't believe a whole year has passed. There isn't a day that goes by without a thought of Julie. We all miss her for so many reasons...her laugh(which I can still hear!),her wisdom which was truly beyond her years, and her love for her family and friends. There was never a prouder big sister, devoted wife or more loyal friend than Julie.....I miss you my friend, Love Tammy xo

To Michael and all the members of Julie's family, I would like to offer you my most sincere condolences. I didn't know Julie a great deal but I met her while teaching in Chunju, South Korea. I smile as I remember Michelle Johnson's video footage of a Hallowe'en in Chunju when Julie and Christine dressed up like Crayola Crayons! Julie's amazing smile, her gentleness and sincerity left their mark on me in the short time that I knew her and I am deeply sadenned by her passing. Please know that my thoughts and prayers are with you all at this difficult time. The world has lost a wonderful person but heaven has gained an angel!

Jennifer and family, Jen, I am sorry to hear about your sister. My thoughts are with you. It has been years since I have spoke to your sister, although I did see her in December at your hockey game and she looked wonderful. I will always remember your sister as a kind and caring person thru our public school and high school years. I have heard over the years she was a wonderful teacher and truly adored. Please take care and my thoughts are with you.

Dear Michael and Family It is with great sympathy that we extend our condolences on the passing of Julie (Mrs. DeMaeyer), a teacher last year at Maple Grove School to my daughter Kathryn. She was a wonderful, caring teacher and friend and will always be remembered and greatly missed by both Kathryn and myself. We emailed her in November after her surgery and Kathryn was delighted to hear back from her, something for us both to cherish. May are thoughts and prayers be with you at this time of grief. Kathryn and I will hold on the wonderful memories of our time shared with Julie and the gifts of learning, friendship and love that will always remain with us. A donation will be sent to the Marfans Society in her memory.

I am sorry to hear about your loss. I didn't know her well, but what I do know of her was she always had a smile on her face. She was always so friendly and always had a relaxing nature to her. Although I am unable to attend her funeral, know that my thoughts will be with you. I am sure her spirit will still remain and be watching over you. Julie will be greatly missed.

Dear Nancy, Jennifer, Jill and your families To say we are sorry for your loss, just does not seem like enough. Although we have lost track of each other in the last few years, we have not forgotten all the happy memories of childhood. Building forts in the trees, running in the fields, riding our bikes, and playing hide and seek in the hayloft. Julie you will always be there in our hearts, to Jennifer and Jill our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. Love Tanya Nattress (Williams) and Terry Williams
