Dear Marie, Stan and Whittaker Family' Please accept our deepest condolences for the loss of your mother, Betty. My mother and I had just mentioned her last week and wondered how she was doing. We cannot be there in person so I would like to share a few memories. We have in the past and will continue in the future to smile and laugh when we think of Betty coming down the driveway to the side porch window and yelling Are you in there!?! The times we would sit and talk and she would share her life experiences - she truely was a woman many years ahead of the time. Did you know we had a secret? Betty decided she was too old to run for city council - so she decided I should and that she would be my campaign manager!!!!! (There is no doubt in my mind - she would have been the most colourful manager ever!) We really do miss her as our neighbour. We have every confidence that Betty has remained true to form and is already issuing marching orders upstairs!!! Don't be sad - that would make her mad! Should you ever be in the neighbourhood - please drop in for a cup of tea. Warmest Regards, Pam - Pam - Dorothy 19 Newman Ave. 416-691-3064
