Obituary of Keith McGregor

McGREGOR, Keith R. Passed away peacefully with family by his side at the Oakville Trafalgar Memorial Hospital on Thursday, July 16, 2009. Keith was born in Treherne, Manitoba in 1931 and is survived by his loving wife Aline McGregor. Keith’s passion for flying began in the Royal Canadian Air Force and continued in his civilian life beginning with Trans-Canada Airlines. He then continued his distinguished career with Air Canada retiring as a captain in 1991. Father of Lorne, Michael (Marie), Sharon (Allan), Kevin (Mary), Liane, Rob, and step-father to Richard (Shay) and Sharon (Wilf). Grandfather to Justin, Jake, Sam, Quinn, Lauren, Peter, Nicholas, Jason and Christopher. Brother of Elsie and Shaddie and numerous sisters and brothers who have predeceased him. There will be a service to honour Keith on Wednesday, July 22, 2009 at 1:00 in the chapel at Monk Funeral Home, 6 Helen Street, Bobcaygeon (705-738-3222 or 866-393-0063). Family and friends are invited back to the house at 9 Fir Trail Road. for a celebration of Keith’s life following the service.
