Obituary of Rosetta Jemima BROWN

BROWN, ROSETTA J. At P.R.H.C., Hospital Dr. on Saturday, April 5, 2003, Rosetta Frankish of Empress Gardens in her 90th year. Wife of the late Doug Brown. Loving mother of Carolee Brown (Lloyd Chun) of Peterborough and Wayne (Liz) of Augusta, Georgia and grandmother of Jessica Moya-Brown of Peterborough. Dear sister of Irene Payne of Peterborough and Ron (Mary) Frankish of Lakefield and the late Marjorie Austrom. Rosetta was born in Lakefield in 1913. During the 30's she taught school at Keene. She retired in 1978 after many years teaching in North York. In 1990 she moved to the Empress Gardens. Friends are invited to call at the HENDREN FUNERAL HOME, Lakefield, on Tuesday from 7-9:00 PM. Funeral service will be held in the Hendren Chapel on Wednesday, April 9 at 11:00 AM. Private interment at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Toronto at a later time.
