DUNLAY: Paul James

 

Passed away peacefully at Pleasant Meadow Manor, Norwood on Sunday January 12, 2025.  Paul Dunlay of Hastings in his 74th year.  Paul was a long-time employee of Armtec and formerly General Electric, but he was a farmer in his heart and loved his time spent on the family farm.  He is loved and missed by his wife Lorraine Clifford.  Also missed by his mother Lillian Dunlay and his children Sharon Dunlay (Jason Horne) of Ottawa, Bryan Dunlay (Lauren Ouellette) of London and Kara Iveson (Kirran) of Brockville.  Dear grandpa of Evan, Kassandra, Damon, Olive, Edith, Lennah and Cohen.  Survived by his sisters Margaret Montgomery (Forrest) of Hastings, Mary Moore (Roy) of Hastings, brother Dan Dunlay (Bev) of Campbellford and several nieces and nephews.  Also survived by his mother-in-law Mabel Clifford, and brothers-in-law Brad Bullock (Deb), Brian King (Bev).  Predeceased by his father Gordon, granddaughter Isadora, father-in-law Harvey Clifford and sister-in-law Heather Lapointe.  Cremation has taken place.  Interment will be held at St. Mark’s Cemetery, Warsaw at a later date.  A Celebration of Paul’s Life will be held at the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch #300, 27 King Street, Norwood on Saturday January 25, 2025 from 1:00-4:00 PM.  Memorial donations may be made to Pleasant Meadow Manor, Heart & Stroke Foundation of Ontario or the P.R.H.C.
