Obituary of Donald Alexander Dunford

DUNFORD: Donald

 Donald (Don) Alexander Dunford passed away peacefully on Wednesday November 20, 2024, at Peterborough Regional Health Centre in his 95th year of life.  Loving father of Ken, Linda (Gordon), Brenda (Bill), Carolyn (Murray) and Keith.  Grandfather to Graham (Brittany), Alexander (Jessica), Cameron (Basak), Minette, Nathan, Paige (Ryan) and Kelvin (Mandi). Don is survived by his sisters Lois Nelson and Lenore Dunford. Predeceased by his wife Margaret-Rose (Thorn), his parents Ernest and Eva (Lane), sister Jean Marie McIntyre and brother Tom. 

The family extends their many heartfelt thanks to the caring staff of Rubidge Retirement Residence, Dr. Colin Matheson and the Palliative Care D2 team at Peterborough Regional Health Centre. 

Relatives and friends may call to attend a visitation at the HENDREN FUNERAL HOMES, LAKEFIELD CHAPEL, 66 QUEEN STREET, LAKKEFIELD on Sunday December 1, 2024, from 11AM to 12:00PM. Interment immediately following at the Lakefield Cemetery.  Reception at the Hendren Funeral Home, following interment.
