It is with great sadness that we share the passing of John-David Thomas of Belmont Lake on Saturday

September 28th 2024. He was born on April 7th, 1955 to parents James John Thomas and Mary Irene Hoffman.

Predeceased by his wife Janet Marie Thomas and survived by beloved partner Heather Christine Shields, loving

father of Jessica (Matt), Emily (Tyler), Ian (Kate), Ryan (Elizabeth) and devoted Poppy of Hannah and Ava.

Predeceased by sister Jan (Brian) and survived by sister Susan. Uncle to Jennifer (Chris), Trevor, Kim, Heather

(Matt).

He worked as a waste water treatment operator and retired from the City of Peterborough in 2013. He was an

avid family man, outdoorsman, and story-teller. Loved spending his days at the lake entertaining family and

friends.
