Passed away peacefully, with family by his side, at Kingston General Hospital on September 1,2024. Guy French of Norwood, formerly of Bay Roberts Newfoundland, in his 76th year. Beloved husband of the late Debbie French (née Land). Loving father of Shawn (Nancy) of Havelock and Michelle French (Ben Clarke) of Norwood. Also remembered by his nephew Rickey French (Nancy) and niece Debbie. Predeceased by his parents Abram and Meleanor (nee Dibbon), brother David (Beatrice), and sister Margaret Rose. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Hendren Funeral Home- Lakefield Chapel. Friends and relatives are invited to call for a visitation at THE HENDREN FUNERAL HOMES-LAKEFIELD CHAPEL, 66 QUEEN STREET LAKEFIELD, on Friday September 13, from 6:00PM-8:00PM. A funeral service will be held in the chapel of the funeral home on Saturday September 14, 2024 at 12:00PM with visitation to commence at 10:00 AM. A reception will be held at the Holiday Inn- 150 George Street Peterborough, on Saturday September 14, from 3:00pm – 7:00pm. Interment at Rosemount Memorial Gardens following the service.
