NEARING, Yvonne Mary 

Yvonne Mary Nearing passed away peacefully with her loved ones by her side on Monday August 26^th, 2024, in her 85th year. Yvonne Nearing (nee Leonard) beloved wife of the late Daniel Nearing. Much loved mother of Jim Nearing (Nicky) and Cathy Taylor (Ricky). Cherished grandmother of Ashton, Jordan, Lucas and Charlize. Adored great grandmother of Elijah and Kalajah. Dearest youngest sister of ‘The Leonard Girls’. She will be greatly missed by sisters Barbara Sherwin and Helen Vozza. Yvonne joins her loving sisters Geraldine Henderson, Rose Leonard, Rene Small, Jean Seymour, Lucille Lafrance, Loretta Leonard, baby Beatrice Ann Leonard and honorary sister Ruth McGill in heaven. 

Arrangements have been entrusted to THE HENDREN FUNERAL HOME – MONK CHAPEL. A visitation will be held at The Hendren Funeral Home – Monk Chapel (6 Helen Street, Bobcaygeon) on Tuesday, September 3^rd from 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM and Wednesday, September 4^th from 10:00 AM until 10:55 AM. A Funeral service will follow immediately at 11:00 AM. A reception is to follow at the Edgewater Condominium Clubhouse (200 East Street, South). Mill Street Parking is available. All are welcome to join the family for refreshments.
