MARTINDALE: Pearl Margaret
Passed away peacefully with her family by her side at the P.R.H.C. on Wednesday August 7, 2024. Pearl Martindale of Lakefield in her 99th year. Loving wife of the late Frank Martindale (2002). Sadly missed by her children Brian of Lakefield, Janice Labre (Yvon) of Maryland, U.S.A, Frank Martindale (Josie) of Peterborough, Catherine Boyce (Clark) of Lakefield, Jeffrey Martindale (Cheryl) of Ennismore and Robert Martindale (Karen) of Buckhorn. Also missed by her grandchildren Cory (Jennifer), Jocelyn (Mike), Lindsay (Curtis), Ryan, Melissa (Michael), Alicia (Brendon), Cari-Anne (Kirk), Melissa, Sean (Emily), Kevin (Jami), Darryl (Dakota), Drew, Holly (Charly), Wesley (Victoria) and great grandchildren Charlotte, Chase, Preston, Brett, Brandon, Madelynn, Averie, Hunter, Abbigail, Carter, Ella, Maddox and Zoey. Lovingly remembered by her sister Eileen Boyd of Scarborough and sisters-in-law Eileen Bowman of Westhill and Sherri Bergman of Carrying Place. Also remembered by several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her brothers William Bowman, James Bowman and brother-in-law Jack Boyd. A celebration of Pearl’s life will be held at THE HENDREN FUNERAL HOMES, LAKEFIELD CHAPEL, 66 Queen Street, Lakefield on Friday August 23, 2024 at 12:00 PM. Visitation two hours prior to the service. A reception will follow in the Heritage Room of the funeral home. A private family interment will follow at Lakefield Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch #77 Lakefield or the P.R.H.C.
