Jeff and I were never exactly friends, but we had a mutual respect for each other. In his later years Jeff and I started trading photo's we took and giving each other tips on making them better. We would criticise each other's work and Jeff eventually surpassed me as he took up photo editing like a fish to water. I was and still am good friends with his brother George going on 40 years so have known Jeff that long. I have known Jeff since he was a teenager. He was a wild one and frankly scared me a little. But he mellowed as he grew older, unfortunately he failed to excise his demons. I was looking forward to one day going on a photo expedition with him but ran out of time on my vacation up that way last year. He had a really good heart and sense of loyalty. About 10 years ago he friended me out of nowhere on Facebook and we had many interesting late night conversations. Jeff, you will be missed, by me and all who knew and loved you.

Jeff may have had an, up and down kind of life. But I am grateful he once loved my sister. I am grateful he was once my brother in law. I am grateful I was witness to see how much he loved the boys. For Brandon, Kyle and Vanessa, allow the grief in, for it is only a reflection of how much you loved your dad. Then slowly, slowly your days will become a little easier. I'm sure his body, and soul have now found peace. Love you all, Auntie Lynn x

So sorry for your loss . I have known Jeff most of my life . He was such a good friend and my go to for many years . Thankful we never lost touch . To see him so thrilled with his Camara and his amazing photos warmed my heart. In grade school I would always tell him this is what you are meant to do ! My memories are endless my heart is hurting . I will forever miss you Jeff .
