A beautiful obituary. It is most definite that on July 16th this planet lost one fine soul.
Although Karl lived to be 94, his legacy had nothing to do with the time spent on the planet, it had everything to do with his spirit, strength, determination, commitment and love. All of which still lives on to anyone who was touch by this soul.

In the midst of the pandemic on Canada Day July 2020, Lynn posted this video, which not only became a light to us during that crazy time, but was a demonstration of Karel Beck's spirit. Just one moment of many through-out his years, that shows us how this devoted soul shared his love and pride for his country, family, friends, community and life.
Karel was always warm, open and loving to my wife Lisa, my twin daughters Lauren and Ashley and our children, Devin and Michael. Always taking the time to show them interest, attention and love, often shared through stories, music and song.
Cheers to our mentor and soul role model. You are still with us Karl and we are all so proud, honoured and fortunate to have had shared time with you.
