ATKINSON: John Gemmell

Passed away at Hospice Peterborough on Sunday June 9, 2024.  John Atkinson of Lakefield in his 78^th year.  Loved and missed by his wife Sandra B. Atkinson of 54 years.  Dear father of Gordon J. (Melanie) (children Isabella & Marshall), Paul T. (children Elizabeth & Bridget), Kenneth W., Joanne B. Mewhinney (Tyler) (children Kyla & Kayce).  Survived by his sisters Linda D. Unrau (Les) of Peterborough (children Alicia & Tommy) and Barbara A. Essegern (Rudy) of Brantford (children Sara, Amy & Lisa).  Predeceased by his parents Thomas L. Atkinson (2012) and Grace McKrindle (nee Gemmell) Atkinson (2006).  A funeral service will be held at THE HENDREN FUNERAL HOMES, LAKEFIELD CHAPEL, 66 Queen Street, Lakefield on Saturday June 15, 2024 at 11:00 AM.  Visitation two hours prior to the service.  Rev.
