PHILLIPS: Bernadette Mary “Ski” (nee Hamblin)

Passed away peacefully at Lakefield Extendicare on Wednesday May 29, 2024 in her 91^st year.  Bernadette’s life was devoted to her family, from her earlier years in raising her five children and as her family grew to include several grandchildren.  She loved the time that she was able to spend with her family and friends over the years.  She is the loving wife of the late Ron Phillips (d. 2005).  Cherished mother of Mary Defoe of Keswick, Kathy Pozzo of Innisfil, Yvonne Wilford (Jim) of Lakefield, Yvette Wake (John) of Midland and Ron Phillips (Kori) of Midland.  Loving grandmother of Jamie (Harry), Jennifer, Terry (Sarah), Jason (Jess), Jimmy, Jessica (Shawn), Chris (Carey), Dale (Emily), Ryan (Natalie), Marena (Sebastian), Melanie (Nolan), 33 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren.  Survived and missed by her sister Barbara Wallace (the late Carl) and several nieces and nephews.  Predeceased by her sister Betsy Foster (Bill).  A private family interment has taken place at St. Mary’s R.C.
