Obituary of Daniel Edward Ayotte
AYOTTE: Daniel Edward “Porkrind”
Passed away peacefully at the P.R.H.C., surrounded by his loved ones on Wednesday May 22, 2024. Daniel was a former employee of Chrysler Canada in Brampton for several years. He loved spending time outdoors in nature; hunting, fishing, and spending time with his beloved Golden Retriever “Bruiser”. He liked to sit at the picnic table outside of his home, waving to friends going by, and loved to talk about boats, cars and Harleys. He enjoyed helping those in need and bringing people together. He is loved and missed by his daughters Jasmine Northey (Devin Northey) of Woodview and Julia Ayotte (Eric Walsh) of Belleville. His grandchildren Vivian and Aiden Northey will dearly miss their “Poppa Pork”. Survived by his brothers Don Ayotte (Sharon Ayotte) of Peterborough, Dean Ayotte (Carol Ayotte) of Port Alberni, B.C. and several nieces and nephews. Dan will also be missed by his lifelong friend Valerie South of Hamilton. Predeceased by his parents William Ayotte and Violet Irwin, sister Deb Ayotte, brother Dave Ayotte and beloved dog "Baxter". Friends and relatives are invited to a graveside service to be held at Sandy Lake Cemetery, Lakehurst, on Saturday June 15, 2024 at 2:00 PM followed by a Celebration of his Life at the Buckhorn Community Centre from 3:00 – 5:30 PM.
