Obituary of Frances Marguerite Wagstaff

WAGSTAFF: Frances 

Passed away peacefully with family by her side, at Peterborough Regional Health Centre, on  Thursday May 9, 2024. Frances Wagstaff (nee Lees) of Lakefield, at age 95. Beloved wife of the  late Arthur Wagstaff. Loving mother of Ron (Linda), Bryan, Marianne, Randy (Jane), Jim (Jan)  and Heidi (Rob). Dear grandmother of Debbie, Elayna, Nicole, Amanda, Tyler, step  grandchildren Brad and Tara. Great grandmother of Amber, Layla, Akailya, Luke, Artemis. Great great grandmother to Brandon. Frances is predeceased by her grandson Nathan, great grandson Aaron, brother Gerald, nephew Kevin, and niece Betty Jean, and survived by her sister in law, Shirley, nieces Mary (John), Rosanne, and nephews Paul (Carmen), Henry (Melanie).  

Friends and family are called to attend a visitation on Friday May 24, 2024, from 10:00AM to 11:30AM at HENDREN FUNERAL HOMES, 66 QUEEN STREET LAKEFIELD. A funeral service will  take place in the chapel of the funeral home at 11:30AM, reception to follow service. Interment at Rosemount Memorial  Gardens, Peterborough. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Royal Canadian  Legion Branch 77, The Canadian Cancer Society, or L.A.W.S., by visiting www.hendrenfuneralhome.com or by calling 705-652-3355. The family wishes to express thanks to the nursing staff in the palliative unit at PRHC, and Dr. Matheson, for the excellent care and compassion Frances received while she stayed there.
