Jane, Ken and all of Barb's family,
I spent a lot of time at Barb's house during my teen years. So many good memories of her. Her country music playing. I think mostly George Jones and Tammy Wynette. Barb's eyeroll and smirk as Jane and I pierced each other's ears with an ice cube and needle in her kitchen. Her big Plymouth (green?) and then her sporty red car. Yes, Jane got to drive them both, and I called 'shotgun'! Barb going to Florida for the winter and coming home brown as a berry long before any of our parents were Snowbirds. Eating simple meals in front of the big picture window in the kitchen, looking out to the backyard. Watching the movie Brian's Song and when I teared up, Barb couldn't help but giggle. Although I didn't see Barb as much as we got older, I loved hearing about her from Jane... her trips out west to see Ken, the odd fender bender, lunch dates with Kevin, funny events with her sister Heather, Mediterranean and Alaska cruises and of course her bid-euchre antics. Barb, you will be happy to know that the best of you lives on in Jane. She inherited your wit, your sense of humour and your courage. Sending hugs to the Hunt/Robinson family,
Rest in Peace Barb, xo
