Obituary of Rosalyn Anita Lepper-Spencer
LEPPER-SPENCER, Rosalyn
Passed away at Peterborough Regional Health Centre on March 7th, 2024 after a lengthy illness. She was born on August 11th, 1954 in England and immigrated to Canada with her family in 1964.
Rosalyn was a devoted wife to Larry (predeceased), loving mother to Richard and Anita (Bradley Jones), cherished grandmother to Emma, beloved daughter to Mary Frances Lepper-Collins (nee Hill) and Richard John Lepper (predeceased). Rosalyn was a loving step-daughter to Norman Joseph Collins (predeceased) and daughter-in-law to Elizabeth and Dell Spencer and sister-in-law to Delight and Kirk. Rosalyn will forever be missed by her sisters Donna Giacalone-Miller, Maria (Terry Cooper), Cheryl, and Kathryn (Jett Britnell). She was predeceased by her brother Cavan, step-brothers Gerry and Larry Collins and is survived by Ken (Diane Page), Lorraine and Neil (Joanne) Collins. Rosalyn was a dear auntie to many nieces and nephews.
Rosalyn was a dedicated nurse who was an asset to healthcare in Ontario. She was loving, caring, and always had the needs and concerns of her patients at the forefront of her care. She was also an avid reader and animal lover, often fostering cats in her home when she was healthier and able. We will miss her beyond words.
A service will be held at THE HENDREN FUNERAL HOMES LAKEFIELD, 66 Queen Street, on Wednesday March 13th, 2024. Visitation at 11:00 AM till 12:00 PM with a service to follow at 12:00 PM. Interment is to take place after the service at Lakefield Cemetery with reception back at the Funeral Home following the burial.
