Obituary of Christine Moore

MOORE, Christine

Christine Moore (Davidson) passed away peacefully after a short and courageous battle with cancer, on January 29^th, 2024 at the age of 63. 

She was born to the late John and Barbara Davidson (Joy), September 2, 1960 in St. Catharines, Ontario. Beloved wife to Brent, and cherished mother to Emily Heaton (Ben), Katie Riccio and step-son Richard Moore. Christine (Mimi) will be deeply missed by her grandchildren, Olivia and Clive, who were the loves of her life, her sister Joy Davidson (Glenn), her nephews Michael (Vanessa), and Daniel, many cousins, and by her dog Lucy. 

Christine’s smile and generosity lit up every room she entered. She loved living by the water on Stoney Lake and taking cruises on the boat with a packed lunch. Christine adored a walk around Sherway Gardens and ordering-in take out to enjoy over family gatherings. She was an avid reader and knew almost every answer on Jeopardy. Christine was immensely proud of her family and leaves behind nothing but beautiful memories. 

Arrangements have been entrusted to THE HENDREN FUNERAL HOME – LAKEFIELD CHAPEL. A visitation will be held at The Hendren Funeral Home – Lakefield Chapel (66 Queen Street, Lakefield) on February 9, 2024 from 6:00 PM till 8:00 PM. A service will take place on February 10, 2024 at 11:00 AM at St. John the Baptist Anglican Church in Lakefield (81 Queen Street, Lakefield).
