Dear Gloria and family,
The staff and volunteers at Lang Pioneer Village Museum were saddened to hear of Ron's passing. Ron was such a joyful addition to the Lang community. He always had a kind thing to say to those he met along the roadways of the village. He was a caring supporter of the museum - who always checked in on how we were doing during busy times.
He will be missed - particularly at Christmas, the time of year that he always took up the post of "Hotel Owner" in the Bar Room/Office of the Keene Hotel building. Many a museum visitor had a chat with Ron, as he kept them entertained while they waited in line for cookies and hot chocolate.
We learned so much about Emu's from Ron! We also learned about community spirit and heart!
We'll miss his calls and visits.
Sincerely,
Elizabeth - on behalf of Lang Pioneer Village Museum Staff and Volunteers

Sean,
I was so sorry to hear about your Dad. As you know, I had the opportunity to meet him several times while working at Fairhaven and through other interactions with the County of Peterborough. I could tell that he took a careful, thoughtful approach to governance; always thinking about what was best for residents. He represented the ideal of why people run for office and I know he will be greatly missed.

Gloria, I am saddened to hear about Ron's passing, he was a long-time friend. Ron worked so hard so it was nice to see him marry you and share his life with a beautiful, wonderful woman. Ron left a giant footprint in our community on so many levels. I was grateful when he assisted with excavating and overseeing the final preparation place for the sacred 'Heroes of Yesterday' war memorial and 'Memory Lane' walkway at the BCC. Ron may be gone from this Earthly plain but he will never be forgotten. Sincere condolences to all of those who loved Ron. God bless, Shelley Bertram Fallis xo

Dear Gloria and Family,
Michael and I wish to extend our deepest condolences to you as the community mourns Ron's passing. We have known him over 40 years and have enjoyed many a conversation with him at community events. We appreciated his many years of dedication and service to the municipality and his support of all community endeavors. He enjoyed a good laugh and was always one to say hello!
We know he will be greatly missed by Gloria, his children, and grandchildren. He was a family man above all else.
Our community will be a little poorer without Ron.
May he rest in peace.
