Passed away peacefully at Hospice Peterborough on Sunday January 7, 2024. Ray Tighe of Lakefield in his 85th year. He is loved and missed by his wife Athabelle. Also missed by his brother-in-law Malcolm Hendren (Linda) of Waterloo, sister-in-law Betty Tighe of Windsor, nieces Nicole Wagner (Mathew) of Waterloo, Laura Richey (Charles) of Lambeth, Patty Beauchamp (Rich) and Karen Haight. Great uncle of Makayla, Tara, Maximilian and Sebastian. Predeceased by his parents Hilliard and Myra, brothers Marvin and Jack (Dorothy). Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Ray’s Life will be held at the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch #77 Lakefield on Sunday January 28, 2024 from 2:00 – 4:00 PM.
