Uncle Glen was a tough, hard working, devoted family man who appeared to accept life's crushing hardships without feeling sorry for himself. An example of the adage, "Keep Calm & Carry On." He taught me to steer a horse in a calm, corrective manner, which impressed upon me that when adults take a little time to instruct children, in that calm way, the results are immediate.
