COUPLAND: Ronald Walter

Passed away peacefully at Pleasant Meadow Manor, Norwood on Friday November 24, 2023.  Ron Coupland of Indian River in his 79^th year.  Ron was the proud owner of Upper Canada Contracting and Stone Craft, which assisted many in the area with their sandblasting and painting needs.  He loved the outdoors and enjoyed his time hunting and fishing.  Loved and missed by his wife Claudia (nee Gray) and his children Julie Coupland (Garth Rombough) of Toronto, Kim Coupland of Ottawa and Tim Coupland (Brenda Blackburn) of Indian River.  Loved by his grandchildren Declan Rombough, Claire Coupland and Griffith Coupland. Remembered by his brothers Rick and Will Coupland, sisters Bonnie Coupland, Lorrie Mitchell and several nieces and nephews.  Predeceased by sisters Sylvia and Jean and brothers John, Ken, Raymond and Joseph.  A funeral service will be held at THE HENDREN FUNERAL HOMES, NORWOOD CHAPEL, 36 Queen Street, Norwood, on Sunday December 3, 2023 at 11:00 AM.  A reception will follow in the funeral home.  Memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association or the Canadian Cancer Society as expressions of sympathy and may be made by contacting the funeral home at www.hendrenfuneralhome.com or by calling 705-639-5322.
