ALDEN, JOHN LONSDALE
Passed away at Lakeridge Health – Oshawa on November 2nd, 2023. In his 95th year. Beloved husband to the late Gwendolyn Alden. Loving father to Denise Alden (Rob Kott) and the late John Alden Jr. Grandfather to Krystal Ireland, Jacob Platter and the late Ashley Alden. Fondly remembered by great grandchildren Joshua, Theo, Adrian and Alex.
John was an avid golfer, a passion he was able to share with his late wife Gwendolyn. John also enjoyed old school movies like the ones on TMC, classic rock and the Toronto Blue Jays. He was also known for his kindness, sweet smile and baby blue eyes. John will be remembered by many more family and friends.
A service to celebrate the life of John will take place on Sunday November 12th, at THE HENDREN FUNERAL HOMES LAKEFIELD CHAPEL, 66 QUEEN STREET, at 12:00 PM. With burial then reception to follow.
