With a cherished farewell to her family, Gail passed away at Peterborough Regional Health Centre, on Wednesday October 4, 2023.

Gail Irvine (née Shipton), of Lakefield, in her 82nd year. Beloved wife of the late Robert Irvine. Loving mother of Robin Brown (Paul) and Mark Irvine (Amy). Dear grandmother to Allison de Vos (Luke), John Brown, Matthew Brown, Cameron Irvine, and step grandmother to Aili Hollingsworth and Carlyn Hollingsworth. Gail is predeceased by her brother Ralph Shipton, and survived by her sister-in-law Sandra Shipton, nephew Peter Shipton (Lynn), niece Nora Shipton (Rob) and their children. 

A celebration of life will take place at THE HENDREN FUNERAL HOMES-LAKEFIELD CHAPEL, 66 Queen Street, on Tuesday October 10, from 1:00PM-4:00PM.
