Peter and I met Fran and Eric on the Rhine River Cruise in September. Although we knew them for such a short time, we were shocked to learn of Eric's passing. Eric was a larger-than-life figure. Both Eric and Fran were always so willing to lend a helping hand to anyone they thought needed support and they were always so welcoming. We send our sincere condolences to Fran and the whole family during this difficult time.

Please accept our deepest condolences during this difficult time. We were very saddened to hear of Dr. Orpana’s passing. He was an amazing surgeon and I enjoyed my many years of working with him at Lakeland Clinic. I have such fond memories of celebrating birthdays and our Christmas social. He was an amazing chef and loved to cook for our Christmas celebration. May you find comfort over time in the many memories you both shared.

On Sept. 18th Heaven received an Oral Surgeon-"the best of the best"-----No matter what he did he would always give it "his all". Always willing to help and one could always count on him to get things done. He was special and a good friend.

I knew Eric for a mere 12 days on the September Rhine Cruise.He impressed me in many ways.Despite such a short acquaintance I was extremely saddened by his passing.I shall think of him often.

Eric we came from humble roots and as much as I wished to enter a profession I never dreamed that it would be possible. You led the way and inspired me to at least try. The rest is history. Thank you.

Alice & I were very saddened to hear of the sudden passing of Eric following the Rhine River cruise which we were on with he and Fran. A larger than life person on the cruise and a master chef when it came to apple strudel making demo time for the cruise attendants. While we only got to know him a little bit, he was very knowledgeable on a number subjects including the operation of the locks, photography, species of trees encountered, etc.. We wish Fran and families all the best during this tough time. Remember the good times.
