Truly saddened to learn of Ruth's passing. We both enjoyed working with Ruth over the years at LPH. Ruth was a team partner for a number of years and an education mentor .She was always so easy going and relaxed in the workplace no matter what events the day brought. Always proud and happy to share news of the family, the cottage and even the trips to the Detroit Lions games. We were grateful to be included even in a family wedding. Ruth was my classmate at the SA Grace Hospital Windsor ON.I remember her sunny disposition ,her laugh and her “frugies”(that is what she called her little ponytails )when we all lived in residence for three years back in the sixties. Ruthie was such a happy going classmate and friend. We shared three years living together as we trained to be nurses, and I never let her forget the “flaming groovies” she made in our kitchen! It’s a story I love telling about our time together. Caused some repercussions but it surely was a laugh at the time. I’ll always remember Ruthie’s laugh. We will miss our conversations with Ruth on the cottage deck. She was always interested in your lives asking questions and sharing experiences. We shared many laughs and glasses of wine. She loved us and we loved her! Ruth will be missed.
