IRWIN, Benjamin Robert “Ben”

Passed away at Peterborough Regional Health Centre on June 29, 2023. Ben Irwin of Buckhorn was in his 94^th year. Predeceased by his wife Betty Irwin (Delledonne). Also missed by his daughters Nancy Gilvear (Jim) of Bridgenorth and Sharon Dana (Raymond) of Richmond Virginia. Ben was a cherished grandpa to Brandy Gilvear (Corey), Holly Gilvear (Lorne), Delilah Dana and also a great grandfather to Colten and Lawson. Predeceased by his brothers Ivan (Mildred), Allen (Verna), Leo and by his sisters Vera Kennedy (Tom), Violet Ayotte (Ed), Elsie McIlmoyle (Jim) and Audrey Harvey. 

Arrangements have been entrusted to THE HENDREN FUNERAL HOME – LAKEFIELD CHAPEL. A visitation will be held on August 7^th from 2PM till 4PM and 7PM till 9PM at The Hendren Funeral Home-Lakefield Chapel. A service will take place at 11:00am on August 8^th at St. Paul’s the Apostle in Lakefield. A Burial is to follow at the Lakehurst Cemetery with reception at the Lakehurst Hall.
