Passed away peacefully at Maple View Retirement Home on May 4^th 2023. Ruth Baskin of Norwood in her 91^st year. Beloved wife of the late Carl Burtt (2013). Dear mother of Adrienne Buchanan (Randy) of Norwood and Lindsay Burtt (Lori) of R.R #3 in Hastings. Lovingly remembered by her grandchildren Chad (Demi), Emily Buchanan, Bradley (Megan) Jordan (Michayla) and Michael (Cassie) Burtt, along with her great grandchildren Beckett Buchanan and Locklin Burtt. The Burtt family would like to give a warm thank-you to Maple View for their excellent care and dedication to Ruth going above and beyond their duties. Another special thank-you needs to go out to Dr. Parks.  

Arrangements have been entrusted to THE HENDREN FUNERAL HOME – NORWOOD CHAPEL. A visitation is to take place at the Hendren Funeral Home  - Norwood Chapel on Thursday May 11^th   at 10:00 am with a service to follow at 11:00 am.  In memory of Ruth, donations can be made to The Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada, Maple View Retirement Home Residents Council, Community Care, and The Canadian Lung Association at www.hendrenfuneralhome.com   or by  calling 705-639-5322.
