Obituary of Helen Wanetta Steenburg

STEENBURG: Helen W.

Passed away at her home on Monday March 27, 2023.  Helen Steenburg of Havelock in her 70^th year.  She is loved and missed by her husband of 48 years, Ralph Steenburg.  Also missed by her children Mike (Dana) of Peterborough, Garett (Cathy) of Peterborough and Sara “Chase” of Port Hope.  Loving grandma of Kaitlyn, Jade, Mike, Elizabeth and Victoria and great grandma of Abby, Dominic, Liam, Lilliana and Hunter.  Survived by her brother Garney (Dale), sister-in-law Fern, brothers-in-law Larry, Jim (Ann), Alan (Jeannie), Walter (Margaret) and several nieces and nephews.

Predeceased by her parents Charles and Helen, brother Bob, sisters Rudy, Glenna and Marilyn and sister-in-law Rita.  Cremation has taken place.  A Celebration of Helen's Life will be held at the Havelock Legion on Sunday May 7, 2023 from 1-4 PM.  Memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society as expressions of sympathy and may be made by contacting the HENDREN FUNERAL HOMES, NORWOOD CHAPEL, 36 Queen Street, Norwood at www.hendrenfuneralhome.com or by calling 705-639-5322.
