Passed away suddenly at his home on Tuesday January 31, 2023. Chris Perry of Buckhorn, formerly of Newmarket and Toronto in his 92nd year. Chris was a long-time dedicated employee of Colgate-Palmolive for over 45 years and part time for 15 years at the Beer Store. Whether it was fishing, bowling or a regular casino visit, Chris had a zest for life that remained until his final day. He loved to socialize and spend quality time with his many friends and family. He is loved and missed by his children Frank Perry (Judy) of St. David’s, Cindy Claus (Rick) of Buckhorn and Dan Perry (Sandy) of Beaver Dam, N.B. Dear grandpa of Bonnie Skinner (Anthony), Amanda Van-Dyken (Chris), Colin Perry (Emily), Christa, Shannen and Hunter Perry and 13 great grandchildren. Predeceased by his first wife Jean and his partner Marion. Friends and relatives may call at THE HENDREN FUNERAL HOMES, LAKEFIELD CHAPEL, 66 Queen Street, Lakefield on Wednesday February 8, 2023 from 6:00 – 8:00 PM. A funeral service will be held from the chapel on Thursday February 9, 2023 at 12:00 PM. A reception will follow in the Heritage Room of the Funeral Home. Interment will be held at Pine Hills Cemetery, Scarborough on Friday February 10, 2023 at 11:00 AM.
