HUGGINS: Danny Allan

Passed away suddenly in Norwood, with family by his side, on Friday December 9, 2022 in his 69th year.  Danny worked for General Motors in Oshawa for over 30 years and continued his love of cars by working on many over the years.  He was an avid Toronto Maple Leafs and Nascar fan and in his younger years, he loved to play baseball.  As the life of the party, he was always fun to be around and he cared deeply for his family.  He is loved and missed by his children Jody Huggins (Sarah) of Peterborough, Ian Huggins (Denise) of Havelock, Adam Huggins (Ashley) of Peterborough and Veronica “Ronnie” Byng (Mike) of Peterborough.  Dear grandpa of Kaylee, Brody, Jacob, Collin, Tyler, Bridgette and Brandon.  Survived by his sisters Roseann, Bev and Gale and brother John.  Dear uncle to many nieces and nephews.  Predeceased by his parents Hilton Wilfred Huggins and Louisa Madelin Spencer, sisters Shelvadean, Verlé and Judy, brothers Wilfred and Frank and grandson Aiden.  Cremation has taken place.  A Celebration of Life will be held at the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch #300, Norwood on Saturday February 4, 2022 from 12- 4 PM.  As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations may be made to Hospice Norwood and may be made by contacting THE HENDREN FUNERAL HOMES, NORWOOD CHAPEL, 36 Queen Street, Norwood, at www.hendrenfuneralhome.com or by calling 705-639-5322.
