ALTHOUSE: Barbara Ruth (nee Cuthbertson)

Passed away at Quinte Health Care, Prince Edward County Memorial Hospital, Picton, on Saturday October 29, 2022.  Barbara Althouse of Norwood in her 92^nd year.  Beloved wife of Ross Althouse of 71 years.  Mom will always be loved and remembered by Wendy Edgar (Duane) of Picton, Deanna Leparskis (the late Henry) of Trenton and Jennifer Patrick (Sean) of Lethbridge, Alberta.  Cherished  and proud grandma of Michael (Dana), Christopher (Alicia) and Andrew (Laura).  Loving great grandma of Isabelle.  Also remembered by her sisters-in-law Sylvia Althouse, Colleen Doré and several nieces, nephews and cousins.  Predeceased by her parents Lottie (nee Jones) and Cecil Cuthbertson and her brother Kenneth Cuthbertson (Susie).  Cremation has taken place.  Friends and relatives may call at THE HENDREN FUNERAL HOMES, NORWOOD CHAPEL, 36 Queen Street, Norwood on Saturday November 5, 2022 from 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM.  A private family funeral service will follow.  As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations may be made to St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church, Hospice Norwood or Norwood Food Bank.  Friends may send condolences or make donations by contacting the funeral home at www.hendrenfuneralhome.com or by calling 705-639-5322.
