Nature’s first green is gold,
Her hardest hue to hold.
Her early leaf’s a flower;
But only so an hour.
Then leaf subsides to leaf.
So Eden sank to grief,
So dawn goes down to day.
Nothing gold can stay.
Robert Frost
Dearest Auntie Em,
Life is ‘short-lived and filled with trouble’ Job 14:1. Your faith was strong and your hope secure - “This is the will of my Father, that everyone who recognizes the Son and exercises faith in him should have everlasting life.”—John 6:40.
I will miss, first and foremost, your laugh, your love of life and of all creation. Fond memories of summers at the cottage: campfires, cookouts, card games, country walks and berry picking, boat rides, shorts and Birkenstocks.
Until we meet again in the earthly paradise to come. Psalm 37:11
All my love,
Tracey
