Obituary of James Arthur Torrie

Passed away peacefully after a brief illness at Ross Memorial Hospital, Lindsay, Ontario at the age of 88. James will be forever loved and missed by his spouse, Amelia (née Baggs), his children, Catherine (Matthew) Ellis and Julia (Frédéric) Quinette, and his grandchildren, Sophie, Alexander, Eloïse, and Adélaïde. Predeceased by his brothers, Fred (surviving spouse, Myrna) and Bruce (surviving spouse, Tui, and the late Elinore). He will be fondly remembered by his nieces, nephews, and extended family.  He is also survived by Carolyn, Michael, Anne, and their families. Cremation has taken place.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Trinity United Church – Bobcaygeon or the Ross Memorial Hospital would be greatly appreciated by the family.
